There’s something extra special about Mother’s Day in Golden Gate Park. The light feels softer, the air feels warmer, and tucked inside is quiet beauty of loved ones making memories together. Everything felt like it was glowing.
This Mother’s Day session in San Francisco was truly full of sunshine. Mama wore the most beautiful yellow dress, and her daughter matched her in a delicate pale yellow like two rays of radiant light dancing beneath the trees. The filtered sunlight poured through the grove, wrapping around them in the dreamiest way. It was tender, joyful, and so full of connection.
What I love most about hosting Mother’s Day sessions at Golden Gate Park is how peaceful it feels. Even in the heart of San Francisco, it becomes this little sanctuary perfect for slow moments, gentle laughter, and the kind of in-between magic that tells your real story.
These are the moments that matter. The hand squeezes. The way your little one leans into you and looks at you like you are their whole world.
If you’ve been thinking about booking a Mother’s Day session in Golden Gate Park, let this be your reminder, "You deserve to be in the frame." And there is no more beautiful place in San Francisco than Golden Gate Park to celebrate your motherhood story.
There are so many beautiful images that I would love to keep them all. I can't wait to print these out and put them up in our home.

Great news! I can help with that. As an East Bay family photographer, I come into every session with intention and a thoughtful plan, but I leave plenty of room for the unexpected. We follow your family's rhythm, embrace child-led moments, and let the day unfold naturally.
